When a minor's account is linked to a school or when authorized government agencies participate in emergency coordination, certain information may be accessed as needed for safety, coordination, disaster response, and educational purposes, subject to our School Participation Terms, Government Agency Participation Policy, and applicable law.
Information from minor accounts is retained according to the Data Retention Policy. We take extra care to ensure that minor data is not retained longer than necessary and is subject to appropriate safeguards.
We apply the same security measures to minor data as to all user data. Guardian-approved accounts, school-linked accounts, and agency-linked accounts benefit from additional oversight layers.
