Terms, Compliance, and Acceptable Use

These Guidelines form part of the service terms for Go Safe 360. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to follow these rules and all applicable laws and regulations.

Permitted Use

  • Safety coordination, trusted communication, and emergency support.
  • Lawful identity and location sharing with authorized contacts.
  • Reporting bugs, abuse, and security issues in good faith.

Prohibited Use

  • Harassment, stalking, impersonation, fraud, or unauthorized surveillance.
  • Uploading malicious content, exploiting vulnerabilities, or service disruption.
  • Using another user’s data beyond granted permissions or legal authority.

Enforcement: Accounts violating these rules may be restricted, suspended, or terminated.

Limitation: The service is provided on an "as available" basis; users remain responsible for lawful and safe use.

Policy changes: Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms and guidelines.

Go Safe 360 User Guide

Clean, step-by-step guide for using the app from setup to daily operations. This guide uses verified links from your current routes and navbar.

QR Setup After Signup (Top Priority)

  1. Open the landing page and click Create Free to Sign Up.
  2. After signup, open Settings.
  3. Check your current password, and complete your account details only.
  4. Add location address: select action and click Add Location. You can add as many locations as needed.
  5. After saving account updates, your personal QR image is generated automatically.
  6. Download your generated QR image.
  7. Send that QR image to your friend so they can scan it in ScanQR from navbar.
  8. After scanning, your friend opens the profile link and taps Add Friend.

Add Friend Using QR Image Scanning

  1. From navbar, tap ScanQR to open /qr_centers.
  2. Select Scan an Image File if you have a QR image, or use camera scan.
  3. After scan result appears, click the profile link.
  4. Open that profile page and click Add Friend.
  5. Tap Request Camera Permissions.
  6. Use Switch Front/Back or camera dropdown if needed.
  7. Scan a user's QR code to identify and add them as a friend.
  8. Scan via camera or Scan an Image File.

Navbar LIVE + SOS and UI Button Guide

LIVE and SOS are mainly used from Chats and Groups. Use the visual cards below to identify each navbar button and what happens when you tap it.

LIVE Badge

LIVE

When visible, LIVE is ON. Tap to turn LIVE OFF.

SOS Button

Tap to start SOS. Tap again to stop after you are safe.

Notifications

Tap to open alerts, messages, and updates.

Post (+) Button

Tap to open Create Post or All Posts menu.

Profile / Account

Tap avatar to open Profile, Settings, Phone Setup, and Logout.

Use top menu links for quick navigation.

Tip: If LIVE/SOS does not start, open Phone Setup, then enable location + permissions.

Review recent safety activity in Tracked.

Quick Start (Recommended Order)

  1. Open Phone Setup and allow Location + Notifications + Push.
  2. Open Settings and complete your profile.
  3. After signup and account edit, your QR image is generated. Open profile from navbar dropdown, download the QR, and share it with friends for scanning.
  4. Use QrCenter for scan/generate QR tasks.
  5. Add contacts in Friends.
  6. Use Chats and Groups for coordination.
  7. Create updates in Create Post.
  8. Review your activity in Statistics.
  9. Use Report Bug for issues, abuse reports, or suggestions.

Statistics and Report Bug

  1. Open Statistics to view your personal activity graph, pie chart, and visited pages.
  2. Admins can view overall STI user activity and totals from the same Statistics page.
  3. Open Report Bug to submit bug, abuse-user report, or suggestions.
  4. After submit, you receive a notification that the team will act within 24-48 hours.
  5. When status is updated to in-progress or fixed, you receive another notification automatically.

Friends Search and Privacy Rules

  1. Open Friends.
  2. Leave search field blank and click Search to show all searchable users (temporary).
  3. If a user disables show in friend search in account privacy, they are hidden globally from friend search results.
  4. Default behavior is enabled, so users are searchable unless they opt out.

Privacy path: Settings -> QR Privacy -> "Allow my name/profile to appear in Friends search".

Posting Guide

  1. Go to Create Post.
  2. Fill title and content text box (emoji picker available).
  3. Attach image by file picker or camera.
  4. If enabling location, wait for GPS lock and map preview.
  5. Submit and verify in All Posts.
