Emergency Coordination Policy — Version 1.0

Emergency Features

Go Safe 360 provides the following emergency-related features:

• SOS Alerts: Users can send emergency alerts with their identity and location context to approved contacts and eligible nearby safety users. SOS alerts are intended for genuine emergencies only.
• Live Location Sharing: Users may share real-time location with approved contacts, including during active SOS incidents.
• Emergency Coordination: Authorized schools, parents/guardians, and government agencies may coordinate during emergencies through the platform's tools.
• Disaster Communication: During declared disasters or significant events, the platform may facilitate communication and information sharing among authorized participants.
• Safety Reports: Users may submit safety reports that may be reviewed by designated school, agency, or government personnel.

Information Sharing During Emergencies

When permitted by applicable law, institutional policy, or user consent, relevant information may be shared with authorized participants during emergencies, including:

• Schools: Information relevant to student safety and coordination.
• Parents or Guardians: Information about their child's safety status and location.
• Emergency Responders: Information needed for life-saving or emergency response.
• Government Agencies: Information required for disaster response or public safety, subject to applicable law.
• Trusted Contacts: Information shared according to user-designated relationships and privacy settings.

By enabling safety features or participating in emergency coordination services, users acknowledge that certain information, such as location, emergency contacts, or incident reports, may be shared with authorized organizations only when necessary to provide the requested safety or coordination services.

User Responsibilities

• SOS and emergency features must be used only for genuine emergencies. Misuse is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
• Users should maintain their emergency contact information and privacy settings up to date.
• Users should not rely solely on Go Safe 360 for emergency notification. Always contact local emergency services (e.g., 911, 117, or your local emergency number) when immediate assistance is required.
• Users should discuss emergency procedures with their family, school, and relevant organizations.
• Parents and guardians should not rely on the app as the only method of supervising, locating, or protecting a minor.

Government Agency Coordination

Go Safe 360 may be used by authorized government agencies to:

• Receive and review SOS alerts and safety reports relevant to their jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with schools, parents/guardians, and other agencies during emergencies.
• Share public safety information and alerts through the platform.
• Access information as permitted by law during declared emergencies or disaster events.

Participation by any government agency does not create an obligation for that agency to monitor the platform continuously or respond to every report or alert. See our Government Agency Participation Policy for details.

Limitations

• Go Safe 360 is a communication and coordination platform. It is not an emergency dispatch service.
• The platform may not be available at all times due to technical issues, network outages, or maintenance.
• Location data may not always be accurate, especially indoors or in areas with limited GPS or network coverage.
• Emergency features depend on internet or mobile data connectivity. Users in areas without connectivity may not be able to use these features.
• Go Safe 360 does not guarantee that any specific person, school, or agency will receive, monitor, or respond to an alert.
• Go Safe 360 provides additional security and coordination features only; it does not assume custody, hands-on supervision, or direct emergency-response responsibility.
• Certain features described in this policy may become available in future versions of Go Safe 360. Availability depends on system development, agreements with participating organizations, legal requirements, and regulatory approvals.

Updates

We may update this Emergency Coordination Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and version number.
