This Data Retention Policy describes how long Go Safe 360 retains different categories of information, and the criteria used to determine retention periods. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

Retained for the duration of account activity plus 1 year after account closure or deactivation, unless a longer period is required for legal or safety reasons.
Retained for 1 year after account approval or as long as needed for fraud prevention, identity verification, legal compliance, or active safety investigations. ID images are restricted or deleted when no longer needed for these purposes.
SOS alert records, responder logs, and associated location data are retained for the period shown in the app's SOS retention settings (accessible from SOS history). This period may be extended if an incident is under active investigation or legal hold.
Retained according to feature-specific limits shown in QR history. Users may delete their own QR history records.
Shared location points and tracking history are retained for the period configured in the user's location privacy settings, or as needed for active SOS incidents, safety investigations, or legal holds.
Retained for the duration of the chat or group activity. Users may delete individual messages or entire conversations. Deleted messages may remain in backup systems temporarily and are purged according to backup retention cycles.
Retained for the duration required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 5 to 10 years).
Security audit logs, device access requests, and account-device fingerprints are retained for up to 1 year, or longer if needed for security investigations or legal proceedings.
Support tickets, bug reports, safety reports, and appeal records are retained for 1 year after resolution, or longer if related to an active legal or safety matter.
Records related to emergency coordination, disaster response, and government agency collaborations are retained according to applicable legal requirements and the nature of the event. Records may be retained longer if related to active investigations, legal holds, or safety follow-up.
Content submitted for AI analysis (including images, text, and files) and the resulting AI-generated outputs are retained for the period needed to provide the AI feature and for reasonable analytics and improvement purposes. Users may delete their AI interaction history where the feature supports it. AI processing by third-party providers is subject to their respective data handling practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
If data is relevant to an active legal proceeding, government investigation, safety incident, or fraud investigation, retention periods may be extended until the matter is resolved. We will comply with applicable legal hold obligations.
We may update this Data Retention Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
