School Participation Terms — Version 1.0

1. School Accounts and Roles

• Schools may create a School profile on Go Safe 360 and designate authorized SchoolStaff members with specific roles (e.g., administrator, school head, guidance counselor).
• SchoolStaff members must use their official school email or be verified through the approved school relationship process.
• Schools are responsible for managing their own staff accounts, role assignments, and access permissions within the platform.

2. Student Accounts and Guardian Consent

• Student accounts require guardian approval unless the school has obtained appropriate parental consent or authorization as permitted by applicable law. Primary legal responsibility for a minor student generally remains with the parent or legal guardian, subject to applicable law.
• Schools that facilitate student enrollment on Go Safe 360 are responsible for ensuring that appropriate consent or authorization has been obtained.
• Student data accessible to schools is limited to what is necessary for legitimate educational, safety, and coordination purposes.

3. School Data Access and Usage

• Schools may access student information only through authorized workflows (e.g., safety signals, attendance records, emergency drills, behavioral analytics, digital hall passes, emergency coordination).
• School access is role-based. Different roles have different levels of access as configured by the school.
• Schools must not access, collect, or use student data outside the purposes authorized by the platform and applicable law.
• Schools must maintain the confidentiality of any student information accessed through the platform.

4. School Responsibilities

• Schools are responsible for ensuring that their use of Go Safe 360 complies with applicable laws, including data privacy laws and child protection regulations.
• Schools must have their own policies governing the use of safety monitoring, location tracking, and communication tools for students.
• Schools should inform students and parents about how the platform is used within the school context.
• Schools must promptly notify Go Safe 360 if they become aware of any security incident involving student data.

5. Data Sharing and Safeguards

• Student data shared with schools is limited to what is necessary for the school's legitimate purposes.
• Go Safe 360 does not sell student data.
• Schools may not sell, trade, or disclose student data obtained through Go Safe 360 except as authorized by law or with explicit consent.
• Appropriate technical and organizational safeguards are applied to student data.

6. Emergency Drills, Safety Features, and Disaster Coordination

• Schools may use emergency drill features, digital hall passes, safety signals, emergency coordination tools, and related features for safety and disaster preparedness.
• These tools are designed to support, not replace, the school's own safety policies and procedures, and they do not make the school responsible for every off-campus, family, or parent-student matter unless required by law or school policy.
• During emergencies or disaster events, Go Safe 360 may facilitate coordination between schools, parents/guardians, students, and authorized government agencies, subject to applicable law and consent where required.
• Go Safe 360 does not guarantee specific safety outcomes and is not a substitute for professional security assessments, emergency planning, or government disaster response systems.

7. Collaboration with Government Agencies

Authorized government agencies may participate in Go Safe 360 for purposes including emergency coordination, disaster response, public safety communication, and related activities. Schools that link to or collaborate with government agencies through the platform should ensure that such collaboration is consistent with their own policies and applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

Go Safe 360 provides tools for safety coordination and communication. Schools remain responsible for their own policies, supervision, and compliance with applicable law, but school participation in the platform does not make the school directly responsible for every student, parent-student, guardian-student, or off-campus matter unless that responsibility exists under applicable law, school policy, or a separate agreement. Go Safe 360 is not liable for how schools or collaborating agencies use the platform beyond the scope of these terms.

9. Termination

A school's access to Go Safe 360 may be suspended or terminated if the school violates these terms, applicable law, or if continued participation poses a risk to student safety or data privacy.

10. Governing Law

These School Participation Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the appropriate courts located in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
